{In a new style of prose-poetry}

I stand unadorned before the Universe
Poised at the threshold
Betwixt the boundaries of water and sky
Supplicating in solitude
Awaiting redemption
Within the gyres of uncertainty
Astride the fundamental boundary
There is only now
Not then or when or how
Spirit-wings sprout fully formed
The celestial updraft lifts up my reawakened soul
Ecstasy infinitely reflected across eternity
[Can you remember who you were, before the world told you who you should be? – Charles Bukowski]

I reveled in epiphany.
The ocean’s gentle whisper
Coupled with the rhythmic wave-pulse
Embraced me like my mother’s arms and carried me away
Away over the waves and clouds
Away from anxiety and worry
Away into the All
My spirit was euphoric – I was with the birds in flight, the clouds adrift, as my soul soared aloft on wings of sea-spray and foam. There was no separation between the Universe and my heart. I felt as if I was a reflection of sanctified authenticity and it of me. Laughing with a child’s laughter of unbridled discovery, I shooed away time when it tried to impose upon me a limit to my elation.
I had nowhere to be
I just had to BE

Regenerative love/unconditional acceptance/blissful euphoria;the rediscovery of my true self was revealed to me in wholesome innocence.
Seaside sanctuary
Portal into the humble glory of
all-embracing LOVE.
The unquenchable fire of life
Roared through my marrow
Time before and after time; life before and after life; the path of the eternal NOW opened. All that I am was condensed into a glowing mote of superconscious dust.
[Superconscious – transcending human consciousness, the highest consciousness or a margin of consciousness above that within the ordinary range of attention. Above the threshold of consciousness, the superconscious mind is your future.]
[When your mind is fully withdrawn in superconsciousness, it becomes centered in the bliss of the spine. You are then in your ideational, or causal, body. That is the level of the soul. – Paramahansa Yogananda]

There was only the me I was before I was told who to be. The same child’s mind that pondered the patterns of sunlight through green leaves and gleefully tasted the first snow fresh and crisp on his tongue is still reflecting upon the universe.
The person I was is
The person I always have been.
Wearing various costumes and masks
Suited the moments within society.
The happy little boy on his grandfather’s knee, is the same single father who held his children in his lap reading bedtime stories. And is also the mature man with a satisfied smile when his wife join him beside the ocean. That smile I saw reflected in my children’s eyes as I kissed them goodnight, is the same smile my mother saw as I drifted off to sleep in her loving arms. And the same smile I will wear at the end of my days as I embrace the infinite.
We are blessed to be here.
One with the sky, the sea, the land, and one another
So it has been.
So it shall always be.
